Do Nature Activities

I will engage in nature-based activities alone, or with my friends or family, for 45 minute(s) each day to connect with the shared ecosystem in which I live and rely on. (This can be anything from going on a walk or hike, to noticing the leaves changing color, to reading a book with nature themes.)

Many of the day to day containers that folks use, are great reusable storage containers, some vitamin containers, bread bags, and salsa jars are some great reusables. I use them for hardware, tacks, food, and let's not forget all the unbelievably valuable and treasured pieces of gravel, ribbon, and other plastic artifacts my kids insist on keeping. :)

You never know how much affect you have on other people's lives. You never know if the small thing you say to someone random will cause an epiphany, or cause them to make a different choice in the future. Maybe telling your friend they should use a reusable cup, or tell your Dad, they should cut down on single use containers. Perhaps it will irritate them, or perhaps a couple days down the road they will think twice and make a better choice.  One thing is for certain, if we never try, we never succeed.
