November 17 at 2:07 PMThere are a few areas around Seattle that allow access to water for paddling, canoeing, and kayaking. Promoting those sites as access points to connect with nature and the environment.

November 17 at 2:05 PMWhile scuba diving, it occurred to me how vulnerable the ocean is. How what we do above the water so greatly impact life in the sea, waterways, and rivers. The dying orcas that would allow smaller fish to hide and live place them at risk, as the coral dies and changes the Ph of the water and the composition of life.

November 8 at 1:38 PMI have not used the Seafood app to better source the seafood my family eats. Having this app will allow me to be a better steward of sustainable seafood. I love trout, shrimp, halibut, cod, rockfish, and salmon.

November 8 at 1:28 PMLocal Farmer's markets, grocery stores committed to having local grown produce in the stores, and grocery stores giving produce to food banks before it expires.

November 8 at 1:24 PMWe have a local farmer's market, but there is no effort to get markets to give back to environments by supporting pollinator gardens across the city or in a neighborhood.

November 8 at 1:12 PMSummer fruits would be hard to give up. There is such a diversity of fruits, and we live in a time with expanded markets bring increased local and international fruits that have historically not been in local markets.

October 30 at 11:45 AMI found that engaging with my community not only motivated others to act against climate change and our rising oceans but also motivated myself to more strongly incorporate sustainability and actual CHANGE into my everyday actions.
