Orcas need salmon to survive; salmon need habitat; we need to restore it.

Southern Resident Orcas' primary food source is Chinook salmon, which is also an Endangered Species. Chinook and other salmon species are declining because the development of our cities and infrastructure has destroyed or cut them off from essential habitat. Our paved and built environment also results in increased stormwater runoff, further polluting the waters that Orca and salmon live in. Reconnecting ourselves, salmon, and Orca to nature and essential habitat is the most vital action we can take to save the Southern Residents.
